Baltistan Autumn Tour

GilgitBaltistan is, perhaps, the most spectacular region of Pakistan in terms of its geography and scenic beauty. Here world’s three mightiest mountain ranges: the Karakoram, the Handukuch and the Himalayas – meet. The whole of GilgitBaltistan is like a paradise for mountaineers, trekkers and anglers. The region has a rich cultural heritage and variety of rare fauna and flora. Historically, the area ha remained a flash point of political and military rivalries amongst the Russian, British and Chinese empires. Immediately after the end of British rule in the sub-continent in 1947, the people of this region decided to join Pakistan through a popular local revolt against the government of Maharaja of Kashmir.

Five out of the fourteen mountain peaks with height of over 8000 meters including the K-2 (world’s second heights peak) and some of the largest glaciers outside polar regions are located in GilgitBaltistan. Acknowledging the vast potential of tourism and its effects on downstream industries, the Government of Pakistan as well as the GilgitBaltistan Administration are focusing on tourism for increasing the number of tourist to thre area

Day 01 Arrive In Islamabad & Tranfer To Hotel
Day 02

Islamabad-Skardu.
Fly to Skardu. (subject to weather conditions) an impressive 50 minutes fly over Babusar pass and mighty Nanga Parbat (8125m). Transfer to hotel Shangri-La.

Day 03

Skardu - Shighar.
Drive to Shigar valley, the gateway to Baltoro glacier. Visit the 16th century old mosque and lacal tibeten style old houses and village. After lunch drive back to Skardu. Overnight at Shangri-La Resort.

Day 04

Skardu - Khaplu.
Drive to Kaplu a beautiful town at the bank of River Indus. Visit the old Fort and Mosque built by the Tibetan Architect style overnight at Khaplu or Return to Skardu hotel.

Day 05

Deosai National Park.
Full day Excursion to Deosai National Park to explore the endangered wild life species, Brown Bears, Brown marmots and Migratory Birds and wild flowers. Meals and overnight at Camp.

Day 06

Deosai - Tarishing.
Drive to Tarishing via Chachor Pass. Visit the Sheosor Lake there are different kind of birds species in this lake and a magnificent views of Nanga Parbat. After a brief visit continue drive to Tarishing, a village at the foot of south side of Nanga parbat is surrounded by high peaks and gives views on the valley. Meals and overnight at local Sarai.

Day 08

Tarishing - Rama.
Drive to Rama Lake a beautiful resort situated in thick pine forest. After lunch drive to Rama lake and local shaped huts. Meals and overnight at PTDC Rama.

Day 09

Rama - Gilgit.
Drive to Gilgit by the Astor gorge and at Thalichi the road joins KKH. A magnificent view of Nanga Parbat appear the immaculate summit of the Killer Mountain. Overnight at Riveria Hotel.

Day 10

Gilgit - Karimabad.
Drive to Karimabad. Perched on the bank of the Hunza River the town is shadowed by Ultar, Lady Finger and Rakaposhi peaks. On way stop to admire the view on Rakaposhi (7788m). Visit the Baltit and Altit Forts. After noon drive to Duikar view point for sun set photography of many countless peaks above 7000 m in Karakoram and enjoy the birds eye view of Hunza and Nagar valleys. overnight at Hilltop Hotel.

Day 11

Karimabad - Hoper.
Day Excursion to Hoper village at Nagar valley dominated by Rakaposhi Peak (7788m). Views on Malubiting (7266m), and Diran peaks. Overnight at Hilltop Hotel.

Day 12

Gulmit - Gilgit.
Drive to Gilgit an important market place on the Silk Road. Visit the Buddha carved in rock at Kharga and exploration of the town. Many shops show the precious stones, which are found in all the area. Overnight at Riveria Hotel.

Day 13

Gilgit - Fairy Meadow.
Early morning drive to Raikot Bridge and walk on the narrow gorge of the Raikot valley jeep road up to Tato village which has damaged by the earth quake last year takes 5-6 hours to Tato village. another 3 hours walk leads to Fairy Meadow. Overnight at Raikot Sarai.

Day 14

Fairy Meadow - Chilas.
Trek back to Raikot bridge. Drive to Chilas. Visit Rock carving at Thalapen famous for the petroglyphes. Overnight at Shangri-La Chilas.

Day 15

Chilas - Islamabd.
Drive to again on KKH towards  Islamabad trvelling almost 12-13 hours..

Day 17

Departure.
Transfer to airport for your onward journey. Assistance at departure and bon voyage.

Hunza Autumn Tour

The Autumn season usually starts in the second week of October. It remains till mid of November every year in Hunza and the surrounding valleys of the Northern areas of Pakistan. Autumn in Hunza valley is bursting with the fascinating spectrum of colors of fall. The shades of fall include golden, yellow, red and green. However, the most dominating are gold and red.

Phandar Autumn Tour

Phander valley located in the extreme north east of Pakistan. The valley which is an awesome paradise elegantly painted in various colors of autumn awes the visitors to rejoice at the breathtaking sceneries hence need to be captured by the cameras of hundreds of nature lovers.

The autumn season is the time when the foliage and tree leaves convert into various colors packed with adequate weather conditions, charming views, and attractive festivities at the harvest and fall activities.

In Pakistan, this season is cool and entertaining for the favorable temperature with various leaf colors in view. This region is famous for the festival activities at the dawn of harvest and fall. Vegetation and foliage go through a number of color transitions yellow, red, golden, and bronze brown. A tour of 10 days conducted for our clients fit and fun enough to infuse the picturesque views of indelible and awesome autumn glimpses for good.

Day 1 Islamabad:

You will be greeted by the team of Hunza Adventure Tours at Islamabad International airport then transfer you along with your luggage to centrally located hotel in Islamabad. Overnight stay in Islamabad.

Day 2 Islamabad – Gilgit – Karimabad Hunza Valley:

Early in the morning, we will drive to Islamabad International airport to take the flight to Gilgit arrive in Gilgit then departure for Karimabad Hunza sightseeing en route we will stop at Rakaposhi viewpoint then further drive to Karimabad Hunza arrival in Karimabad Hunza check-in at the hotel and in the evening we will visit Karimabad local bazzars . Overnight stay in Karimabad Hunza Valley.
Distance:145 km / Driving Hours:02 hrs / Altitude: 2400m / Activities: Sightseein

Day 3 Karimabad – Baltit – Altit Forts Duiker :

In the morning after breakfast, we will visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort and in the afternoon we will after lunch then we will do the water channel walk and in the evening we will drive to Duiker to enjoy the sunset on the Golden peak. Overnight Stay in Duiker.

Day 4 Duiker – Hopper Valley – Gulmit Hunza Valley:

In the morning after breakfast then we will drive to Hopper Valley then hike up to Hopper glacier and after lunch then we will drive to Attabad Lake boating at Attabad Lake then further drive to Gulmit arrival in check-in at hotel. Overnight stay in Gulmit Upper Hunza Valley.
Distance:185 km / Driving Hours:4 hrs / Altitude:2500m / Activities: sightseeing.

Day 5 Gulmit – Borith Lake – Suspension Bridges:

This day is very interesting, as in the first nearly half an hour we will drive to Hussaini Village and we will visit Hussaini suspension bridges, then we will drive up to Upper Borith to the viewpoint of Passu white glacier then drive to Passu village after lunch we will have a village to experience the village life after completing the visit then we will drive back to Gulmit . Overnight Stay in Gulmit Upper Hunza Valley.
Distance:85 km / Driving Hours:4 hrs / Altitude:2500m / Activities: sightseeing.

Day 6 Excursion – Khunjerab Pass:

Full-day excursions to Khunjerab pass (The border between Pakistan and China). In the olden days, there were few highs passes leading from China that was suitable for travel. Today the Khunjerab Pass, which at an altitude of 4733 m the highest point in the world on the Karakorum highway, provides an easy all-weather entry from Pakistan to the famous Sinkiang province of the people‟s Republic of China. This route is a beautiful drive, with views of the high mountains of the Karakoram and the distant Pamir mountain ranges. At Khunjerab, now declared a national park, one can see Marcopolo Sheep, Snow leopard, Himalayan Ibexes. In the evening return back to the hotel.

Day 7 Gulmit – Gupis Valley:

In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Gupis Valley sightseeing en route and we will have a lunch stop on the way then further drive to Gupis Valley arrival and check-in at the hotel after a short rest then we will visit Khalti Lake for photography. Overnight stay in Gupis Valley.
Distance:250 km / Driving Hours:7 hrs / Altitude:2200m / Activities: sightseeing.

Day 8 Excursion – Phandar Valley:

In the morning after breakfast we will drive to Phundar Valley en route we will stop for photography then further drive to Phundar Valley arrival in Phundar Valley then we will go for a walk in Phundar Valley and in the evening return back to Gupis.Overnight stay in Gupis.
Distance:60 km / Driving Hours:3 hrs / Altitude:3000m / Activities: sightseeing.

Day 9 Gupis – Gilgit :

In the morning after breakfast we will drive to Gilgit we will visit the Gilgit bazaar in order to familiarize ourselves with the customs of the Gilgit’s, a stop at the cooperative store, where Chinese goods are bought on the barter system will allow us to glance at Chinese treasure after the bazaars visit then we will check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Gilgit.

Day 10 Gilgit – Islamabad:

In the morning after breakfast we will take the flight to Islamabad arrival in Islamabad International Airport then drive to Islamabad en route we will visit Taxila Museum and in the afternoon we will Fasial mosque, Pakistan Monument and Museum, Saidpur Village and Damen Koh and after a farewell dinner party then we will drop you at the airport to catch the flight back home.
